Legacy & Grain Co. did not begin in a boardroom. It began in a house. But truthfully, it began even before that, in a workshop, beside a father who was a carpenter. Growing up working fine woods by hand taught lessons no trade school covers: patience, the feel of grain under a plane, the difference between work done fast and work done well. That foundation shaped everything that followed.
In 2016, our founder took on a personal renovation project with no intention of starting a company. With an HVAC certification and an electrical license already earned, and a lifelong understanding of fine woodwork passed down at his father's workbench, the scope of that first flip house expanded naturally. The walls came down. The systems were rebuilt. The finishes were specified, sourced, and installed with a precision most contractors do not bother with. When the project was complete, the quality of the work spoke for itself.
A handful of gifted tradesmen joined the effort, and what had been a single personal project became something worth giving a name to. Legacy & Grain Co. was the result: a firm small enough to care about every detail, and skilled enough to deliver on every promise.
